Character painting... well, kinda.

I've been exploring some new character styles lately, and have gone back to trying to actually paint one of my pencil sketches, which is a process I used to use, but abandoned a long time ago, mostly because of the time constraints - starting and finishing a piece entirely digitally just seems like a more refined process(although it always seems to lack that authentic, tangible... something! But that's another rant).

Anyway here are a couple of the latest and greatest attempts...

Slum Moon & The Defenseless Knight samples

The first image is a sample page from a project I've been working on lately which is, as of right now at least, titled "Slum Moon." Not so sure about that one just yet, but check out the sample page. A few earlier posts show other paintings related to the same universe. Hopefully more to follow...

The second is from an older project that follows the adventures of a wayward knight. It's definitely not my normal style, but it was fun to dabble in a "lighter" and more playful style.
